First before dealing with how to create a great looking facebook fan page, first lets check out how to create a simple fan page:
Login into your facebook profile and go to the bottom of the page and click “Advertising” link on the footer. Select Pages from the next page option and click “Create a Fan Page”. On the next page, you will have to select a proper category, example for a website “Brand > Website” and later fill in the info of the website, like the URL, About us etc.
Once you have created a simple facebook fan page now its time to spice it up to make it look great. First upload a image to the Facebook Fan Page to depict the website. A Â Square space logo would be a nice option.
Now, the important part! The looks! Go to Applications on the left menu and select Static FBML. You will be asked to enter a title for the page and in the FBML field you can paste a designed webpage in HTML. Just take care the images use the full path of the server and are not relative. Â After pasting the HTML, save the page and go to FBML tab and click Edit Page > Manage Permissions:
