Tyre pressure in cars : Critical importance

The most ignored part of the car by many are the tyres. One just looks at it only when it gets flat or torn off. Maintaining proper air pressure in a car is very important for the tyre’s life and overall driving ability of the cars. Incorrect air pressure might lead to slippage, heavy torn out and even accidents might occur.

Every car manufacturer sticks a label of the correct air pressure on the inside of the driver’s door panel. These pressures are set by the manufacturer after a lot of research on what’s best for the car. Keeping anything different than that will put you at risks.

Some exceptions: In summer if the heat waves are too much, its ideal to keep one point lower than the recomended air pressure as heat expands the air pressure within the tyres.

Always check your car tyre’s air pressure at regular intervals. Don’t ever forget to check them when you are going on a long drive.
