After the grand Indian Wedding the newly wed couple – Singer Katy Perry and actor husband Russell Brand flew to Maldives from Jaipur in India. The couple had a traditional Hindu wedding + a christian ritual at the posh jungle resort in Ranthambhore surrounded by the magic of wildlife and nature.
However, on the way return from the resort the couple had to wait at the helipad for 30 minutes after their helicopter was called back by Indian autorities for not getting permission to fly. This was a lapse on the part of the resort and had nothing to do with the couple. However, a large crowd gathered at the helipad to take a glimpse of the high profile couple. From the resort they flew to the Jaipur airport and headed to Maldives for the honeymoon.
