Indian team move towards the next war......

Rajkot four days after M. S. Dhoni’s men did the victory run at Nagpur, India takes on England in a seven-match One-Day International series. The first ODI commences at the Madhavrao Scindia Stadium here on Friday. The build-up has been amiable unlike the India-Australia skirmishes that preceded the Test series. Andrew Flintoff recently said that India was ‘possibly the best team in the World’.England skipper Kevin Pietersen lauded M.S. Dhoni and the Indian captain reciprocated with a word of thanks in Thursday’s press conference.

Winter seems to have kick-started with the next five weeks promising high intensity cricket with England’s tour of India. However, amidst this battle, there is another battle that makes for an interesting contest.

MS Dhoni versus Kevin Pietersen ,two Captains equally talented who know how to bring out the best from their teams. However, former England fast bowler Angus Fraser has lavishly praised Pietersen before admitting that Dhoni and his boys are in fact favourites.

The England squad for the upcoming Rajkot One Day match comprises Matt Prior and Ian Bell who will open the proceedings for the visitors. This is followed by the strong middle order that will bolster their batting department, a side that looks very strong on paper.
